Some people come for the treatments. Some come because a friend told them they had to. Some come carrying something they can't quite name, perhaps a flatness, a restlessness, or a sense of being slightly out of step with themselves... Some come not quite knowing what they're looking for at all.
One thing, though, remains constant. All of them feel something before they understand it.
This is a space built on the practice of Usui Shiki Ryoho, the traditional system of Reiki, as it has
been passed down through an unbroken lineage for over a century.
At Beauté, we do not practise a modern, blended or adapted interpretation. We practise the original form with care, teach it with integrity, and weave it into everything that happens here.
Natasha Collins has practised Reiki for two decades and has held the title of Reiki Master since 2013. She didn't find Reiki - it found her, and then it became the undercurrent of everything she built.
What you'll find here is not a wellness trend. It's a practice with roots, a lineage with names, and a way of working that puts the recipient's body at the centre of every session.
If you're curious, you're in the right place.

Reiki Master. Teacher. Member of The Reiki Alliance.
For the beginning of this story, we need to take you back to 2007, when it all started with a chiropractor – not a spiritual awakening in a mountain temple, not years of searching…. Just a Tuesday afternoon conversation after an adjustment.
Well, one thing led to another, and what usually results in tapping your card and submitting a rebate request to your health fund resulted in Natasha finding herself at a weekend seminar at a local nun's retreat! (Legend has it that HCF didn't cover that one 😉)
Here, Natasha walked in knowing almost nothing about Reiki and walked out a different person.
At this time, Natasha had already owned Beauté & Be for seven years. She was practical and business-minded, not someone who described herself as particularly spiritual. In fact, Reiki only hit her radar when a staff member wanted to bring it into her salon.
In true Natasha fashion, needing to fully understand something before it enters her space, she went to find out more before allowing it through her doors.
What she found was harder to explain than could’ve ever been expected…
When asked to describe the experience, Natasha said the word she always comes back to, after years of reflecting on it, is home.
“Not home as a place, but home within myself.
It felt like I had spent so much of my life searching for something without even realising that I was searching… Then suddenly, there was this overwhelming sense of remembering who I was beneath the salon, the kids, and the busyness.
I felt this sense of peace I'd never experienced before and felt that I didn’t need to become someone else or find the next step to take because it was all already in me, I just needed to come back to myself.
After years of practice, that feeling still hasn’t left me.”

So, after that fateful weekend, Natasha came back to the salon on Monday and couldn't stop talking about it.
Her son, her husband, and her whole team followed. Her daughter was attuned at just seven!
Children's seminars were filled with kids who laughed, danced and learned they could heal themselves. She travelled across the country and around the world, hosting them.
She didn't plan any of it. She followed what was pulling her.
Fast forward a fair few seminars and even more treatments; a statement made by Natasha’s Reiki Master, Robyn, shook things up again…
"You know you're being groomed as a Reiki Master, don't you?" Robyn asked.
Well, no… Natasha didn't.
She was doing it all for love of the practice, for the faces she'd watch transform between walking into a seminar and leaving it. The idea that it was leading somewhere specific hadn't occurred to her.
It was in America, visiting Paul Mitchell, a master within the Office of the Grandmaster, that the direction became undeniable. They talked for a long time. She received a treatment. His words to her were simple: "Let down your resistance."
She did.
Master training challenged Natasha in every direction. She knew it was worth it before it was over.
On April 13, 2013, with sun rising at Bar Beach in Newcastle, Natasha was initiated as a Reiki Master in Usui Shiki Ryoho. P.S. She is, by her own admission, not a morning person… She got up in the dark anyway.
Following initiation as a Reiki Master, Natasha joined Reiki Australia as a practitioner, then as chair of the board, and later as financial director. She was interviewed and accepted into The Reiki Alliance, an international community of Usui Shiki Ryoho Masters, tracing lineage directly back to Mikao Usui. She travelled to the UK to spend a week with Phyllis Furumoto, the lineage bearer who had carried the practice from Hawayo Takata to a global community. She describes it as one of the highlights of her life.

welcome
REIKI
Reiki Treatments are available with our practitioners as an alone treatment therapy or as an add on to all other treatments to enhance your wellbeing and relaxation
Reiki is the Japanese word meaning life force energy the energy found in all living things. The Usui system of Reiki is a holistic healing discipline promoting harmony and balance on all levels. Reiki enhances each individual's own uniqueness and creative abilities.
Reiki is an experience rather than something you can put into a few words. Once you have learned the art of Reiki the ability cannot be lost. It can be practiced anywhere at anytime. REIKI
Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle, yet powerful method of healing. Reiki energy, (described as 'universal life energy' or 'spiritual energy') which is accessed by the practitioner during a treatment, enhances the body's natural healing ability and promotes wellbeing.
Reiki treatment stands on its own as a healing practice and is also safely used to support orthodox and complementary medicine. It is increasingly accepted in health and community care facilities including hospitals, hospices and cancer support units. The recipient usually lies on a treatment table or sits comfortably in a chair while the practitioner gently places her hands on the recipient’s fully clothed body. The hands can get quite warm as the Reiki flows. Sometimes the recipient can experience heat inside their body or cool tingly sensations as energy moves. A full Reiki treatment takes between 30-60 mins and can be enjoyed by all ages. Most people report feelings of deep calm and increased well-being after a Reiki treatment. Some people fall asleep during the treatment. Afterwards people can feel energised and more in-tune with themselves. Many people report relief from pain and anxiety, improved energy, mood and sleep. In the case of acute, chronic and/or life challenging conditions your practitioner may recommend an ongoing treatment program to support your healing process. Anyone can benefit from having a Reiki a treatment. Reiki supports all aspects of the physical body, the mental and emotional states and can connect people with their innate spiritual nature and can be safely used in conjunction with many medical interventions. It can accelerate natural healing processes and mitigate side effects. The number of treatments will vary for every person. Long-standing complaints and chronic conditions require more treatment to work through layers of healing. Acute conditions respond quickly to Reiki treatment and recipients usually experience some relief after one or two treatments. Receiving four treatments in a row is a powerful way to start a healing journey. After each treatment the body, mind and spirit becomes more familiar with the practitioner and begins to recognise the Reiki energy flow, allowing the recipient to relax more deeply. The recipient takes the lead in deciding how many treatments they would like and an individual treatment plan is usually worked out in dialogue with the practitioner. Many people report feeling calmer, more centred and happier after a Reiki treatment. Receiving a relaxing Reiki treatment has many benefits on the physical body, emotions and busy mind. The gentle touch of Reiki practitioner can help the body return to a natural state of balance where it can heal itself.Learning Reiki will be one of the best investments to your wellbeing you will ever make .... a gift for life
