Twenty-five years. It’s a milestone that feels both surreal and deeply grounding. Surreal because it seems like only yesterday I was setting up our very first space, wondering how on earth I’d keep the lights on. Grounding because every year, every client, every moment has woven itself into the fabric of Beaute & Be and into my own life.

When you’ve been in business for a quarter of a century, the world changes around you, and so do you. The Junction, our home, has shifted and evolved in ways I couldn’t have imagined when we first opened. Businesses have come and gone. New faces arrive, familiar faces pop back in, and beauty trends cycle faster than ever. Through it all, we’ve held onto something I believe will never go out of style: genuine care, skilled hands, and the belief that true beauty comes from nurturing both skin and spirit.

Staying True in a Fast-Moving Industry

The beauty world moves quickly from devices and products to “miracle” technologies that appear overnight and vanish just as fast. While we embrace innovation, we’ve learned to be discerning. Our focus isn’t on what’s trending; it’s on what works. That means treatments backed by science and experience, energy practices that support the whole person, and rituals that leave you feeling restored long after you walk out our door.

I often say that the magic happens when skin and soul meet in the same treatment. That’s why Reiki has always been a cornerstone here, not as a separate service, but as an undercurrent in everything we do. It’s there in the way we welcome you, in how we hold space during your appointment, and in the way we send you back into the world a little lighter, a little more you.

The introduction of Be Transformed

This year, that philosophy came to life in a whole new way with our Be Transformed program, a 10-week chakra-based journey designed to help you feel grounded, aligned, and reconnected to yourself. Every 10 days, we focus on a different chakra, with custom meditations, colour therapy, frequency healing, and optional Intraceuticals facials to align skin and spirit.

The feedback from our first intake has been incredible, not just for the results you can see in your skin, but for the way it’s shifted energy, confidence, and daily life for so many of you. For me, it’s been a reminder that when you approach beauty as a whole-person experience, the impact goes far beyond the mirror.

Designing the program meant I didn’t just create it for you; I went through it with you. Every shift you felt, I felt too. There were moments of quiet “ah-ha!” clarity, and moments of “oh… right… that’s something I have to face.” It’s been as transformative for me as it has been for our clients, and a reminder that when you approach beauty as a whole-person experience, the impact goes far beyond the mirror.

Growing the Team, Growing the Person

One of my greatest joys over these 25 years has been training and mentoring our team, not just in technical skills, but in personal growth. We work with Reiki as part of our internal culture, supporting each therapist’s journey of self-awareness, resilience, and emotional balance. I’ve always believed that when our team feels aligned and supported, the energy they bring into the treatment room is that much more powerful for you.

Milestones on Milestones

Marking 25 years in business comes at a personal milestone too… 50! With grown kids living their own adventures (Echoe still here, keeping life colourful), I’m stepping into a new season of both life and business. I’m thinking more about legacy, about creating something that continues to evolve without losing its heart, and about how we can keep offering not just treatments, but a space to truly be.
